Total cost depends on the time and expenses involved in producing the images that are right for you. Both time and expenses are governed by final usage, subject matter, location and the number of finished images required.
We are happy to quote an 'all-inclusive' price to take, process and supply images for specific usage.

N.B. To keep costs low all Standard Service images are processed using an automated, basic correction of exposure, tonal range and colour balance. Does not include Optimisation or retouching (see Premium Service).

*This fee is charged from when I begin to unpack or set-up my gear for the photoshoot until the time I have finished packing my gear away. Breaks for lunch etc are not charged for. Includes initial consultation & planning.
**Post Production requires computer time and so needs to be charged for. Professionally taken images DO NOT come out of the camera in a ready-to-use state! After the shoot all images need to be processed from their initial RAW state into usable JPEGs or TIFFs. RAW processing is part of the Post Production workflow which also includes: downloading all images; backing-up to external hard drive & DVD; initial editing & basic correction of exposure, tonal range and colour balance; then the creation & delivery of either index proofs (Premium Service) or high-resolution, non-Optimised images (Standard Service). See Choice of Service above.
***Optimisation means the images you choose from the index proofs are given more than the basic correction applied to Standard Service images. In order to achieve superior quality they are individually cropped, fully corrected and adjusted from the original RAW data to achieve optimum exposure, brightness, contrast, colour balance and consistency across any given group of shots, then processed into high quality TIFFs or JPEGs. Also includes basic digital retouching. E.g. for portraits - removal of blemishes, even out skin tones and teeth whitening. Premium Service only. See Choice of Service above.
